christmas Holidays

Christmas holidays!!!!
The studio is now closed for Christmas Holidays. We will re open on Monday 5th January.

We’ve had an exceptionally busy first few months:

September saw drama students stage William
Shakespeare’s The Tempest in the Cork Arts Theatre in aid of Irish Cancer Society.

Later that month The Wolfe Theatre Grouped performed The Laramie Project in the Everyman Palace Theatre to standing ovations.

October was a busy month with dance and drama students performing in Rigoletto and Madame Butterfly in the Cork Opera House.

The Junior drama students also displayed their immense talent in their production of Charley and The Witch in the Everyman Palace Theatre which ran during the Halloween Midterm.

We didn’t stop there…. In November our Junior and Senior Cheer teams along with our competitive dance team competed in 21st Century Cheer competition in UL,bringing back an impressive 2 first place,3 second place,2 third place and 1 fourth place in our various categories.

The dance studio celebrated turning 10 in style with a sold out performance of Dance Celebration 2014 in the Cork Opera House.

Dance,drama and singing students got into the holiday spirit by welcoming Santa with their Christmas themed cabaret in both Douglas Village and Douglas Court shopping Centre at the start of December.

Singing students had an amazing Frozen themed showcase last weekend for parents and friends in the studio.

And we aren’t finished yet with an action packed second half of our year still to come with dance and drama exams,Feis Maittiu,Cheer competition and of course our annual Easter pantomime to name but a few events !!!
